Review

Gavin´s 2003 album "Chariot" was a huge success, both in the states and in Scandinavia.
Gavin performed in front of 40,000 in Copenhagen 2 years in a row, so now he´s facing the first hard task to beat by repeating the success with the new self titled album.
He´s had a lifetime to write and complete the debut and almost took the same time for the sophomore record, Gavin wrote material enough to release a box set but settled with a single cd which is good enough for me.
I´m thrilled to say the new album feels more upbeat and I welcome the more rocking sound thanks to the guitars being higher in the mix.

Gavin gives his fans a new set of piano driven soul pop songs where at least the label has 5-6 possible hit singles to release in the near future.
First out is "In love with a girl" that sounds like a true summer hit, 46 minutes later I am still wondering if Gavin can write bad songs because I singalong to all these songs with joy.
"Cop stop" is a given hit or my name is Donald Duck, another track worth mentioning is "Untamed" that shows what a great singer Gavin is.
There are plenty of songs to mention but I´ll guess you´re gonna hear them on radio soon.

Tracklisting 1. Sweeter
2. Not Over You
3. Run Every Time
4. Soldier
5. Candy
6. You Know Where I'm At
7. Stealing
8. Radiation
9. Where You Are
10. Spell It Out
