Review

Care Of Night is a new AOR sensation from Sweden that has released a fantastic 4-track EP(only out on Spotify and iTunes). Behind this band you will find Calle Schonberg (vocals), Jonathan Carlemor (guitars), Kristofer von Wachenfeldt (keys), Jonas Rosengren (bass) and Linus Svensson (drums) that has created this wonderful EP. The sound of their EP is stunning and they have got help on the production from the Wigelius guys. The singer has a great voice and sometimes he reminds very much of Kenny Leckermo (ex-H.E.A.T) and that´s not a bad thing. Soundwise Care Of Night reminds of Wigelius, Work Of Art and H.E.A.T with wonderful keyboards through the whole album and brilliant melodies. First out is the awesome Cassandra with big hooks and a damn catchy chorus. Say A Prayer is a strong mid-tempo song with some classic 80s keyboards in the background and the chorus is classy with great harmony vocals. Pick up the air-keys to Give Me Strenght because the keyboards are all over this song, they sound amazing. This is an outstanding AOR-rocker with huge hooklines and the chorus is a cracker. The keyboards plays a big roll on the last song Unify as well. Great stuff with strong melodies and the chorus is great. Listen to the fantastic guitar-solo with pompish keyboards in the background, awesome stuff. Care Of Night is something to keep an eye on and hopefully they will release this on CD soon. It won´t take long before these guys have a record deal. This is quality AOR for sure!!!!!
