Review

Neil Citron, the talented guitar player, known for his work with the symphonic rock vocalist Lana Lane, is finally in the spotlight himself. I love his playing with Lana Lane, and here he has the opportunity to show the world what a magnificent guitar player he is on this instrumental solo album. We are talking about a real guitar virtuoso of world class. He's combining pure technique with a great sense for melodies into an outstanding guitar instrumental rock that is close to Gary Moore, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. With him on bass is the famous Tony Franklin (Blue Murder, The Firm, Lana Lane), and as usual he's delivering a solid foundation to the music. But that's not all! The amazing keyboard player Erik Norlander (Lana Lane, Rocket Scientists) has the same qualities as Neil and Tony. So with this line-up there isn't much more to wish for. My only negative opinion is that the guitar sound isn't as crisp and clear as for example Joe Satriani's and Steve Vai's. This is a guitarist's wet dream!
