Review

Their debut CD “The Way of the Fist” has been doing just what everyone expected, kicking ass! This is no surprise considering the band is formed by former members of Motograter, U.P.O., and W.A.S.P. “The Way of the Fist” is pure aggression from the get go.

Vocalist Ivan Moody may let fans of his softer side down a bit on this CD, but heavy music lovers will eat it up. There are times where Moody strays back into his “Motograter” stylings during choruses, but the entire band does an incredible job creating a sound of their own on this CD. The thrash metal influences really shine during tracks like “Ashes”, “The Way of the Fist”, “A Place to Die” and “Death Before Dishonor”.

Highlights from the album are too tough to choose as each song has it’s own unique flare to it. For this reason alone the CD has almost an unlimited replay value. Then there is the blazing guitars and pounding drum beats that will rattle your bones on each and every track.

Tracks to get you started with are “A Place to Die”, “ The Bleeding”, “White Knuckles” and “The Way of the Fist”.

This CD will have you head banging all day, the only downside to “The Way of the Fist” may be that it just ends too soon.
