Review

Canadian artist DAVID MADER deserves a few lines about his release from 2006; "90 Days Of Rain". Those of you into HALL & OATES, SIMPLY RED or KEVEN JORDAN should pay attention. This is real nice pop/rock with some AOR and Westcoast hints thrown in as well, although not dominating. Songs to check out are for example "A Little Love" with a touch of BRUCE HORNSBY and KEVEN JORDAN and "Count On Me" in the same style and also quite a PHIL COLLINS vibe. Just to point out the variation there´s also the last song, "Going Home" which travels in the TOM PETTY direction. The production is real good (mixed by for example Peter Brander) and the only thing buggin me is the voice of David Mader. He is a good singer, but uses a vibrato that bugs me a little. If you´re not sensitive when it comes to vibratos, check this out since it is a really good CD. Well, check it out anyway. The playing time is only 31 minutes though.
