Artist discography

Alistair Griffin had a successful period in the early 2000s when he was a finalist in the talent program, Fame Factory. His debut Bring It On reached to the 12th spot on the UK album charts and he was a guest in a number of television shows. Unfortunately, the success was short-lived right as he shortly broke up with record company and management.
He came though back strong in 2010, when his single "Just Drive" became the title song for Sky's F1 coverage. A fantastic and epic pop song that can be found on his very nice album, Albion Sky. The song is also featured on this album, which might not seem particularly necessary. But we got it in a new twist as it is far more stripped compared to the grandiose original.
As the precursor From Nowhere is filled with great and well-made pop in a singer-songwriter package. Really love his more up-tempo tracks such as "The Greatest" and "Save This Day" as well as "Free Fall" although it is a bit too danceable.
If I have to find any difference against Albion Sky I have to say that this one is a bit more folk inspired and therefore quieter. But it never gets boring but very beautiful as in "This is London" and "The Road" where he Kimberly Walsh is helping him out.
Spontaneously, I think Alistair Griffin has reached its peak as a solo artist, given what he has done so far and the incredible competition that is out there. However, he's a hugely talented songwriter and this is something that he definitely should focus more on.
