Review

For me, Danko Jones is one of the best live bands in the business today. With their rock n 'roll-inspired hard rock they always deliver a giant portion of energy and attitude. One reason for this is that all of their previous six albums really bubbled of fast-paced rock really made for the rock clubs. Another is that they really are a true rock band that writes songs for the fans and not for lists.
This new album Fire Music is no different from the previous ones and delivers exactly what you hope for, maybe a little more to be honest. Thinks that the band was a little uneven on the last albums, but this one is totally on the same level's as their classic, Never Too Loud. Tracks like "Gonna Be A Fight Tonight" and "Do You Wanna Rock" is among the best that the band have written, like the trashy "Piranha". Another track that should be mentioned is the "Getting Into Drugs" where the band in a comical and fun way illustrates their 'potential' needs and temptations. The rest of the album follows the same track and hold a really high level, where the band feels hungrier than ever. Check up if you’re into energetic hard rock!
