Review

UK artist Dec Burke has written and performed with progrock band Darwin´s Radio, "Destroy all monsters" is his first solo album and it´s progressive as well but with traces of electronica and pop. This is a songbased progrock album where the verse-chorus formula is more important than tempo changes and 15 different instrumental parts, Dec handles both instrumentation and the vocal part really well but I think it´s too much of a pro-tools production over the album. It sounds too homemade, the songs are good and I don´t mind listening to this again mostly because of the beautiful guitar work but he could work a little harder on the production part next time.

Tracklisting 1. The Last Time
2. Winter to Summer
3. Signs of Life
4. Sometimes
5. Secret Lives
6. Open
7. Promised
8. Small Hours
9. Destroy All Monsters
