Fifteen is the fourth full length from the Fort Worth, Texas-based band Green River Ordinance. The band has also delivered a number of Ep's since their debut The Beauty Of Letting Go from 2005 so it is a productive band we are talking about.
This new album follows the forerunners well with a large dose of Americana like Sister Hazel, Will Hoge and Augustana. However, they have added a little more Alt Country touch compared to its predecessor Under Fire that had a clearly larger soundscape. Although I prefer their last album a little more thanks that I am not a major fan of Country, I think this is the way to go. Like Ingram Hill, they have found a very nice mix of Americana and Country, which I think take their popularity to a new level. Because there are some very good tracks here as in "Keep Your Cool," "You, Me & The Sea" and "Always Love Her" all of which are ready for more rootsy radio channels. Could mention several more quality tunes of this nice record that is a given purchase if you like this kind of rock.
