Review

New York based rocker Bob Pressner goes rootsy on his debut album "Honor among thieves" that is a well produced affair. He sometimes remind of Neil Young but in a southern rock suit, if you add a touch of melodic rock a la Dan Lucas into the mix you´ll get Bob Pressner´s 13 track album from 2010.

It´s a big sound with loud guitars which is very cool, there are some really good songs on this album like "Afterglow", the real heavy "Bleeding me dry", "Independence day" and the Bruce Hornsby-like "Angels in the wind". It comes as no surprise that this is quality music when you see a name like Tony Levin on bass on "Friend of mine". Thumbs up!
