Review

Swedish band BULLET have become quite popular here and there, and I can understand the hype. They deliver straight forward, right-in-your face hard rock very close to AC/DC. This new album kicks off with three up-tempo tracks, starting with the title track. Every part is almost exactly like AC/DC, with a slight difference in the lead vocal of Hell Hofer (which just has to be the name he was born with...). But it's close enough, and BULLET gets away with it since they're still not doing any rip-offs! You just gotta love them, because of the energy and the attack they deliver. And the song titles say it all: "Heavy Metal Dynamite", "Knuckleduster", "Stay Wild" and "Blood Run Hot" are a few examples. Even though the AC/DC vibes are imminent, there are some traces of IRON MAIDEN in one or two tracks too. If you're a hard rocker and haven't discovered BULLET yet - it's time you do. They're here to stay and we won't get rid of them. They may not deliver anytning unique or new to the business, but then again - how often does that happen these days? This is classy hard rock and it's classy. One bad thing though: the playing time is just above 39 minutes, which is too short for paying full price if you ask me.
