Review

Love when new good band shows up and that is also revolutionizing in some way. Is thinking of the Creed, Linking Park, Nickelback and Coldplay that all got a tail with bands behind that’s be influenced by them in some way. Do not know how much Walking on Cars have been listening to Chris Martin and his men, but there are some similarities here with big melodies and an alternative touch. However, this Irish band a little more straightforward and more indie influenced more like a cross between Snow Patrol and Scars on 45.
Tracks like "Catch Me If You Can" and "Two Stones" is incredibly good with their positive and catchy melodies. Even "Ship Goes Down" is a song that needs to be mentioned and is a clear favorite at this very nice record.
The band has an awesome style and writes good songs, which of course is their strength. But also need to give extra credit to front man Patrick Sheehy who has a very suitable voice for this kind of big sounding indie folk rock.
It will be fun to see what the band can do in 2016, but they have all chances to become something big through this awesome debut.
