San Francisco’s critically-acclaimed band THRIVING IVORY prepare to release their sophomore album,  Through Yourself & Back Again on September 14th via Wind Up Records. The album features the first single, "Where We Belong" which is available on iTunes now. Watch the video for the single as the guys perform in an abandoned warehouse.

Thriving Ivory released their self-titled debut album in 2008, which included the hit single “Angels On The Moon.” The album reached #1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and the single went on to sell over 500,000 digital downloads and reached the Top 30 on both Pop and Hot AC radio.  VH1 named the band a “You Oughta Know” artist and put the video for “Angels On The Moon” into heavy rotation.

A true accident if there ever was one; Bad Books was never an intended nor calculated side project of Kevin Devine and Manchester Orchestra's Andy Hull.  Though the two musicians have collaborated and performed together on tour and within the Favorite Gentlemen community of artists for years now, the genesis of Bad Books came from a simple idea to fill space and time off the road by collaborating on a small batch of songs together at the top of the year.  With no agenda and no expectations, what was birthed just one week later was Bad Books, a fully realized album encompassing five compositions each from both Devine and Hull, with the members of Manchester Orchestra filling out the sound and the band. The self-titled debut will be released October 19th, 2010 via Favorite Gentlemen Recordings, the record label that was founded and has been run by Manchester Orchestra since 2007.

Minus the Bear are thrilled to embark on a new headlining tour due to the overwhelming demand by fans and several months of sold-out tour dates. Beginning October 18th in Eugene, OR, the Seattle based quintet will head out in continued support of their latest album, OMNI, which Alternative Press praised as "the perfect album to launch Minus the Bear into another dimension entirely" and Paste Magazine simply called "the group's most explosive record." The tour will also include a performance at this year's Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans on October 31st.

In addition, Minus the Bear will join Jimmy Eat World for a European tour this November. Tour dates below.

Since the release of OMNI, which debuted in the Top 50 of the Billboard Top 200, Minus the Bear have performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, made an appearance at this year's Lollapalooza, opened for Soundgarden and were recently selected for the "MTV + Pepsi Refresh" series, which will spotlight the band on Viacom channels MTV, VH1, Teen Nick, Comedy Central and Spike all of September.

Joe Satriani, one of rock musics most renowned electric guitarists, has announced that his highly anticipated 14th studio album Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards is to be released in the UK on Monday October 4th by Epic records. The album release dovetails Satchs autumn UK tour, which kicks off on October 17th at the Manchester Apollo.

Joe Satriani has been a worldwide guitar hero since his 1987 breakthrough album, Surfing With The Alien. Over 10-million albums sales, 15 Grammy nominations and numerous accolades later, Joe continues to push the envelope of modern rock guitar playing.

In 2009 Satriani teamed up with Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony of Van Halen plus Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) to form Chickenfoot. Their debut album became a global hit and received gold awards in the US, Canada and Europe, while Classic Rock Magazine voted them Best New Band of 2009.
