Puddle of Mudd, the Los Angeles quartet known for their hard-rock radio hits, have just released a video for their single "Spaceship." The sci-fi video directed by Petro (The Academy Is, Rufus Wanwright) channels the best in space travel with alien strippers and an homage to Star Wars and its scrolling text intro. Rounding out the rockstar antics are the daredevils of Nitro Circus, including Travis Pastrana on his signature dirtbike.
"Spaceship" is the first single from Volume 4: Songs In The Key Of Love & Hate and is currently on the rise at rock and alternative radio. Volume 4: Songs In The Key Of Love & Hate hits stores December 8th.

OneRepublic's highly anticipated album Waking Up is available today! The band's follow-up to their Dreaming Out Loud debut features the powerful single "All The Right Moves." Waking Up is available in both a regular and deluxe edition which will include bonus tracks "Trap Door," "Sucker Punch," "Passenger," and "It's A Shame."
Waking Up, recorded in their hometown Denver, is the band's most sweeping, cinematic effort to date, with even more strings and movie-like moments, thanks in part to the use of the same children's choir and orchestra used by Batman and Edward Scissorhands composer Danny Elfman (with whom Tedder has shared ideas). Plus, OneRepublic has recently added co-writer and bass and cello player Brent Kutzle to its lineup. "All he listened to before getting into this band was soundtracks," Tedder says. "He can name every score and soundtrack guy from the last 15 years."

Fall Out Boy drummer Andy Hurley says the band have gone on hiatus.
Hurley announced via Twitter on Sunday (Nov. 15) that he was recording new material. Hurley later wrote that he meant he was recording with Burning Empires, his side project, not Fall Out Boy.
"FOB is on hiatus. For real," he wrote in a tweet that's since been deleted. Hurley later said the following:
"everyone, when i said fob was on hiatus, i didn't mean hiatus. i meant break. which is what i understood hiatus to mean."
Please allow us to try and clear up this confusion. Fall Out Boy fans: "hiatus" is not a synonym for "break up." It is "break up" without the "up." It doesn't mean permanently ending anything. You know how they sometimes say "we'll be right back" on TV before a commercial comes on? It's like that.

Legacy Recordings/Sony have digitally released the first two albums by Robert Tepper 'No Easy Way Out' and 'Modern Madness'. Released in 1986, His debut album title track 'No Easy Way Out' became a smash hit at rock radio and was prominently featured in the Rock 1V Soundtrack. It remains an international rock anthem. The debut album also includes 'Angel Of The City' and 'Don't Walk'. The follow-up 'Modern Madness' was released in 1988 and includes 'The Unforgiven'. Both digital albums are available at iTunes, Amazon.com, and all major online stores.
Robert Tepper lives in Los Angeles and has been producing, engineering, and re-mixing locally and abroad. Recently, Robert has been writing with Grammy winner Jeff Silbar ('Wind Beneath My Wings') and Mark Goldenberg (Jackson Browne). His official site is www.myspace.com/roberttepperonline.

Now Ryan Tedder tells Billboard.com that he's set his sights on conquering another territory -- films.
"I love movies. I've always loved movies," Tedder, who's currently on the road with OneRepublic, opening for Rob Thomas to promote the band's sophomore album, "Waking Up," which comes out Nov. 17. "I used to want to be an actor, but that's never gonna happen, so I might shift into writing moves at some point. I've had a couple screenplay ideas I've been toiling over for the last two or three years. I've already pitched one of them to a buddy of mine who's a producer, and he thinks I could get it made."
The Timbaland protege says moving into movie making represents "another challenge" that fits his "goal-oriented" personality. He also acknowledges that such an endeavor may lead him to "slow down the songwriting," something he says may be in the offing anyway.
"I might reach a point with music when I'm kind of like, 'OK, I've done what I set out to do and I don't know if I'm gonna beat where I'm at,' " explains Tedder, who's written recently for Adam Lambert and Natasha Bedingfield and plans to work with Katy Perry in 2010. "It was just pure luck that the first two hits I wrote broke every freakin' record. I've always been the kind of person who...half the fun is getting there and I just move on to something else rather than being like, 'OK, I want to play king of the hill and see how long I can stay up here.' I don't want to turn into friggin' Madonna or whatever, where you're constantly fighting to maintain some kind of pole position. It's that eternal pressure to maintain it that drives people mad and starts killing people."
Tedder, who trained in songwriting in Nashville, says that writing for country artists is "refreshing" but still thinks he's "gonna start slowing down...in the next couple of years." But he's still wholly engaged in OneRepublic, whose new album he feels has "a lot more energy to it, a little more fun and a little more attitude" than 2007's gold-certified "Dreaming Out Loud."
"We didn't want to chase 'Apologize' or chase 'Stop and Stare,' " Tedder explains. "We wanted to do something fresh and different, forge ahead and create a new sound that was specific to OneRepublic. Our songs are bigger than we are up to this point, and we became keenly aware of that while touring. So this album aims to remedy that and really create an identity for who this band is."
In addition to touring with Thomas and into 2010, OneRepublic will celebrate the release of "Waking Up" with a Nov. 17 appearance on NBC's "Biggest Loser."

Former Rock Star Supernova front-man Lukas Rossi has renamed his new supergroup from Interview to Daylight Division. The band, which includes Daylight Division, featuring P.O.D. guitarist Marcos Curiel, former Chevelle bassist Joe Loeffler, and former Papa Roach drummer Dave Buckner, have parted ways with their front-man and former Rock Star Supernova front-man Lukas Rossi.
The band are currently auditioning several A-listers in addition to some unknowns in the studio. Check out the announcement from the band below:
"We wanted to inform you that the members of Daylight Division have decided to part ways with Mr. Lukas Rossi. Though, Lukas is an amazing talent and helped form what Daylight Division has become, the band felt the chemestry just wasn't at 110%. As each member is taking this band very serious, they felt it was the best time to make the switch before they took the next step. We wish Lukas and his family the best and look forward to seeing his solo career continue to grow.

When Steven Tyler joined Joe Perry onstage last night in New York to sing "Walk This Way" — and announced he wasn't quitting Aerosmith — it seemed like the troubled group's problems might be over. But according to Rolling Stone Magazine it's far from that.
The cameo, says Perry, came as a surprise even to him. "There was all this commotion during our encore break and somebody said, 'Steven is here.' " Perry says. "And I was like, 'What?' " After exchanging pleasantries, Tyler asked to sit in with the group on the final encore of "Walk This Way." "Being an acquaintance of 40 years, I said, 'Why not?' " Perry says. "So he came up and sang and that was the last I saw of him."
