Micheal Jackson was the greatest entertainer in the world. Steve you are the best singer in the world. You also have given hope, strength, love, and courage with your vocals. We miss you terribly especially now. We know your cords age with you and we wxpect deeper vocals from you but that would be awesome. It is your tone, the way you pronounce your words, and the emothion in your voice that we miss. You dont have to do a tour these days there are so many new avenues to take. You probaly have more loyal fans than any other entertainer out there. WE truly do not stop believing in you. I only wish i could have had teh chance to see you in the day. God bless....

I too was wondering what Steve Perry thought of the events of Michael Jackson's death/life. Steve Perry - to me - truly is the King of Rock/Pop/Easy Listening/Ballads - you name it - he's the best.
When you see how short life is it makes me wish so much that Steve would not hide from his loyal fans and would be more accessible and continue to share his beautiful voice with the world as we miss him and his voice to very much. I don't want the music to die and it has without Steve Perry! Michael will rest in peace - but Steve needs to live in life. Please come back to us Steve - if only for a little while.

I'm cuban, from Havana, and I'm a huge fan of Michael Jackson and Steve Perry, so I specifically searched for any comments Steve had to give about MJ, it was really important to me. I'm extremely pleased that the singer I admire has such great opinion of "The King Of Pop" Michael had his moonwalk none of us will ever forget, but Steve has his beuatiful songs I particularly love. My respect to both entertainers, you guys have been the best that has happened to me in my life, you music has taken me thru experiences and moments I won't ever forget.

Any chance that Mr. Perry could do a podcast or webcast? Would be a great way to preview new music without the hassles and rigors (and expense) of a full blown tour-and without having to cut a whole album.
Really wish he would perform again, even if only for a video, if not in person.
And any truth to the rumors about the new album in 2009?
