Long time bassist Michael 'Kalel' Wittig is parting ways with Pillar. He feels that God has something different for him and he plans on working with Indie Christian bands like One Minute Halo as well as others.

-chad, where's your band at? Mike has played all over the world and has won many awards. What have you done?

-Michael Wittig is awesome! He will be missed in Pillar but his new band StarGoDim is now on tour in the Midwest. Check them out at www.starsgodim.com

-wow chad. sounds like a little resentment or bitterness on your part to me. as far as the world is concerned, I don't think anyone really cares what your concern is.

Comment from Linda at 27 Oct 2008 13:28
-I got to meet him in Pikeville, KY on July 19, 2008. He took time out from eating to talk to my daughter and I. He is such a nice person. He'll be missed, and I'm just thankful we got to meet him before he left. I wish him the best of luck in his new endeavors.

-mike wittig tried playing bass in our band many years ago. as far as I am concerned Pillar is way better off without him!
