"Angels & Airwaves To Release New Album In 2009"

Angels & Airwaves frontman Tom DeLonge spent the past year releasing movies, establishing websites, embarking on tours and running myriad companies. But in 2009, he'll allocate the time to assemble his band's third full-length, which will take most of the year to complete. DeLonge says he and his bandmates will surround themselves with 'futuristic landscapes' and 'thematic enterprises' for inspiration, and that he's cooked up a few song ideas with some new instrumentation, but no concrete details were offered. 'We've not only shown people what our ambitions are,' he notes, 'but we've shown that we follow through with them.'

-ava is a band that means so much for me,too.....with such inspiring and beautiful songs.i just can't stop listening to it.it's my favorite band right now...and it got me more deep than blink ever had done...and i was (and still am) a big fan o blink for all their fun songs and all...but ava...i just i can't describe it i was sooo looking forward for blink to come back and i was very happy when i saw that it would happen...but come to think of it...if ava ends for blink's return...i prefer ava to continue...i don't know about blinks return...i looks that there's no purpose for them to come back...i mean...probably their songs will be a lot diferent and hell yeah!i new album!i've never got so excited about it!

-mike, u have described AVA in the best possible way, i prefare them to blink 182, only got into them about 5 months back being honest which was bout 3/4 months after trying blink 182, AVA is now my fav band, ther emusic means so much to me, and as far as i know there going to continue being a band even tho blink 182 is back, i hope they stay a band for a long time, until im ur age atleast lol

-Alright, watching grammys and blink came out, including tom and sed their back. What the hell? What about ava? Blink was ok last album was killer i admit but ava blows them away as far as inspirational music music that means so much. tom sed he grew up too much for blink in a good way and i agree that was ok when i was 21 but im 32 and ava puts out music so much for life when growing up and becoming a real man. what the hell is tom doing? trust me I love fun music. But blink got too goofball after a while. please someone tell me this is very temporary.

Before forming Fightstar, singer Charlie Simpson was in a band called Busted, who were a British pop band consisting of James Bourne (rhythm guitar), Charlie Simpson (lead guitar and occasionally drums), and Matt Willis (bass). They sold over 1 million singles and 2 million albums in the UK, winning BRIT Awards, Record Of The Year and performing on several sellout arena tours.
