No doubt, this is a good pop record, and speaking of good norwegian pop music, check out DonkeyBoy which has a huge hit in Norway with "ambitions". Its been reigning the top 20 chart for weeks.I believe the bands got their debut album ready for release on october 19th.

Hey Henrik.I have to say that the letdown's been easier to pick this year than the favourites, and so far the biggest letdown is Third Eye Blinds long awaited "ursa major", and the few tracks I'v heard from "in search of solid ground" by Saosin does not promise good things for the rest of that record. One thing that makes it difficult to pick a favourite record so far, is that most of the records are uneven, you know, half of the record can be amazing and the rest feels like filler. Anyway, I am a sucker for "the long road" by The Red Jumpsuite Apparatus, A Day To Remember made a damn find record with "homesick" so did These Greene Eyes with "relapse to recovery"."new Again" by Taking Back Sunday and The Audition "self titled-album" are equally good records.Halestorm and Marianas Trench took me by surprise, but I will probably put "the egg hunt" by Making April at the top of the list so far, because it has some unexplainable warmth and some wonderful melodies, pure bliss if you ask me. This fall and early winter there seems to be a lot of major releases to look forward to, so lets just hope Third Eye Blind is still at the throne for the biggest letdown at the end of the year.

Totally agree. Opening track is a real cracker!!!!
Love A-ha's style overall because of the good songs, arrangements and vocal style. The new album is in fact better than all the last ones because they took the time to emphasize what they are good at; timeless light synthpop!
But; the new one is not about "bygones" but an absolute modern and fresh achievement.
Listen and buy!

Ghost: Yeah, I guess I was a bit too harsh there, sorry about that! I did listen to FOB's latest album and I didn't like it all, maybe i just didn't listen to it enough..? =) I gotta ask, what's you favourite album so far this year?

I was told to Google myself and found this review and comments...awesome! I normally wouldn't respond (I guess I could've gone with the cheesy impostor post saying how awesome I am) but disgruntled, I assume you saw one of the 2 shows I played in Summer 2008? Yeah, I sucked. I've worked very hard this past year and hopefully won't suck when I start back up but yeah, I was awful and accept full responsibility for it. If I could refund the $3 you paid to get in, I'd do it. But I'm proud of the album, so no reimbursement for that :) Go check out Issac James, that's the rest of the guys. I hear they're doing great things.

I would agree that this is not worth more than 2 stars, but to compare it to Fall Out Boy and to claim that they are better, is absurd. I doubt that you even took the time to dive into the latest FOB record, because you sound a little preconceived to me.

I guess this is the same deal as Daughtry. Good but nothing really new and exciting... I would buy this album though, a safe buy for every lover of what we call modern rock!
