I disagree about "On My own" being filler, it was the first track to get me excited about this release..."Is This Real?" & "Changing" haven't done the same. I have been a fan of "The Worst of Me" since it was "Love Maker" on the Grey EP also...Definitely interested to hear the rest.

Hey Ryan, I would like to see you do a review in a foreign language, how about swedish which is Kaj's original language, then we will see how much knowledge you have or how intelligent you appear..

(sorry, wrote the wrong name, hahahaha)
-And by the way, Ryan. You stop by here quite often and I must ask you, how many albums you have bought or downloaded for free after you have read a review of mine? I have almost written 50% of the reviews in here so I think the chance is pretty big that you still read my reviews. Let it go!

Seriously? Slade? That's your reason that using coz instead of because in an article is valid? Seriously? Slade can write songs with coz in the title because it's a rock song and the title doesn't matter but when you are writing a review of an album you are trying to convey the fact that you are intelligent and that your opinion is based upon some knowledge of what you are talking about. Using slang spelling of words makes you look like you are in high school and do not have the musical experience necessary to review anything. Slade folks! SLADE!

Cavo - Bright Nights, Dark Days

Wippson says:"they have a very common style, there are many bands that sound similar, and so they must rely on very strong songs. But they have really done a very even album without filler material".Well, there is not much reality in this review. What strong songs are these? Most of the songs on this record are mediocre, some even blatantly weak. I would say lots of filler material, so its even alright...Its all been done so many times before, from Daughtry to David Cook to The Veer Union to Hinder and so on, some of the songwriters are the same so its really no wonder.( the most surprising thing is that Brian Howes didnt co-write or produce songs on this recocord). I usually like David Bendeth produced records, but I am not so happy about his performance here, because part of the producers role is actually to decide what is the best songs for the record. The production is by all means clinical and completely without force in my opinion.

Couldn't agree more Keith. As much as I like Scannell, Kane brought something special to the mix... I wish he would play a more active role like he used to, or as you suggest, put out a solo album.

I have seen these guys live and they are incredible. The album has solid tunes and lyrics which are unique and stay in your head. I dissagree with Rickard, the more you listen the more you like the songs. Every Rock act out there has been "heard before", but these guys are up there with any top act out there now, and I'm sure will continue to produce great stuff, keep an eye on these guys, incredible dispite what "Rickard" has to say.
