I loved and still love Race The Light.
It is a great album.
The songwriting is beautiful and captures you while Mr Dallmans' voice is sugar sweet and intense all rolled into a capturing vocal.
A true talent.

Great review, however I believe this installment is a HUGE improvement over their previous effort, Vengeance. Vengeance, while keeping with their traditional sound and had a FEW highlights (breathe), was completely immature in terms of lyrics and had a lot of similiar tracks. Here, each track feels far more unique and it feels like a lot more passion was put into each track. Personally, I think this is one of their best efforts.

I by no means tried to say I knew who they were before. The only knowledge I had of Far before was from what I read in their bio and I tried to make that clear in the review. Sorry you weren't happy but It was music I wasn't into and no one else wanted to review it on the site. Sometimes that just happens.

You call this a review? This is the most generic review I've ever read. You just mention which songs are fast and slow, and whether they sound good or not.
And for one, the band HASN'T been around for the last several years. They broke up in/around 1999, and this is their first time back together. That is pretty relevant, but nowhere in the story is it mentioned, and I'm 99.9 percent sure that was on the band bio.
You say your favorite music by Far is "when they are pumping out their well-crafted melodies or just playing good old fashioned rock and roll music." That makes you sound like you're 55 years old. Have you even heard Far before this record?
It's OK to review the record blindly, having never heard the band before, but don't B.S. some flimsy exposition to make it sound like you know who the band was before.

Hands down the best christian rock band I ever listened to or worked for . Randy is in my opinon the best guitarist there is, Randy and Bryan were the heart, soul of the band......
