Logan is spot on. Fictionist is fantastic live. I saw them last time they were in Austin. They are coming back this weekend for SXSW.

Just so you know, "Flowers For A Ghost" is on the 2006 self-titled album. So it is by no means a new track, although they've labeled it as such.

Great album for lovers of "Testosterone Rock". I was loaned a copy by a mate and was blown away! This is typical Brit hard rock written and performed really well...not sure which album the main reviewer listened to, but if you want one dimensional and unmemorable then take a listen to most of the european melodic rock/aor type bands who all sound the same. Well done Angel House for giving rock it's balls back!! Buy it!

Harem Scarem - Human Nature

Better late than never...Human Nature (and specifically "Next Time Around") was the first song/album I ever heard from the group, but was immediately converted. After collecting their entire catalog (Rubber not included), this album continues to stand as one of the best of their career. An absolute classic!

Harem Scarem - Overload

Although "Afterglow" is one of my favorite tracks ever to be penned by the band, I will once again agree with Kaj's review here. Production is big and hits hard. If you are a newcomer to the group, purchase this one after you familiarize yourself with others like the Self-Titled, Mood Swings, Weight of the World, Higher and Human Nature.

Harem Scarem - Hope

Although Harem is one of my all-time favorite bands, I am abashed to admit that I completely agree with Kaj's review. Aditionally, the production is weaker than their earlier efforts (the hi-hat is a constant nag on my ears). Although I will take this above Big Bang Theory (I just cannot get into that one at all), I would suggest stopping at Human Nature with their discography (which is an absolute classic).

Oasis - Heathen Chemistry

Oasis (particularly Noel) are the best melodists (in the sense of Beatles-alike-striking-at-first-listen-melodies)of the past 20 years (besides Coldplay maybe), hence singalongs are there, but the whole album lacks cohesion and that special "something".
