I have to confess Tom that I sometimes skip your reviews....they are sometimes a little...ummmmm...long! :)
But I wanted to say thanks because you are so bang on with Emarosa...what a brilliant album and Craig is an awesome singer.

I have just listened to Stranger Through the Window and I can hear the influence of Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy. Tim Bragg's vocal style is close to Phil's too- The review is very misleading and I would urge folk to check out this album themselves and they will find the singing is in tune and in rhythm and sounds good! I wonder what the reviewer would have made of Shades of a Blue Orphanage of Thin Lizzy's eponymous first album! Slagged off Mr Lynott?

This is generally a companion piece to the previous album, with slightly less immediate hooks. The production is impressive for an indie & the performances are on fire throughout. This album is known mostly for the semi-hit it spawned in the mid-south region, a remake of "Bette Davis Eyes". This should be the last of the three Space Cadet albums you purchase, as it is slightly inferior to the others. Overall, though, a very solid entry in the SC canon.

why have i just found this review? it is probably the worst review i have ever seen of sean's stuff. first, sean sounds nothing like josh groban...nothing! Second, the highlighted track,"let me go down quick", which you say is a piano ballad, doesn't even have piano on the track...at all! its like you are reviewing a different album. did you? you reference josh groban more than once is this review, so i'm guessing this a way for you to legitimize your love for him. But Sean and Josh Groban sound nothing a like. sorry dude! i love sean and his music, and am also excited to hear a full length. I agree with you, his voice is soulful. But thats about all i agree with you on. Better luck next time rickard!
