Good heavy riffs and vocals, but 3-4 songs is enough for my taste

I have gotten a chance to listen to their new album as well. I think it's great. The band has grown so much since their swim album. Swim is a great album but I want to hear what else bands can do as they progress. If every album sounded just like Swim why would I come back to listen. That's why I love July For Kings so much they are always branching out and expanding their musical horizon but keeping true to their own style and sound. Say it Now is definitely a great song and one of the best on the album but Houses Made of Stained Glass really has a melody that keeps bringing me back. This album is definitely still July For Kings and their sound is unmistakable.

Correction on my review above ! The leadsingers voice are of course Jens Westin. As I listen to almost all kind of music and shift genres often from raw rock to psy-trance , house and club it´s hard to describe what makes music good. But one thing I always notice is that music that someone have put a lot of energy and commitment to are always good to listen to. I listen to what´s inside the tunes and not only the surface when i judge. Corrode released their album in my club / house genre time and blow me away in a fingersnap. The tune time and agian had so many layers and still are a "clean" rocksong. The hard guitar riff and cleaver drumbeats are completed when the vocals start. Fredrik has one of the best voclas I heard in a very long time. These guys can go really far with the right backup from their label. Keep rocking !

Wow, she has unbelievable talent. I first heard her at a concert with City Under Siege in Rochester at the beginning of 2009, and I couldn't believe she sounded perfect live. Its rare to be able to find musicians these days that can do that. Most have at least some touch ups in the studio, but her voice was honestly the best I have EVER heard at a live event. As the review said, this girl has the looks and the sound of a pop star. "Lights" should be a household name in 2-3 years. If you have the chance to go to one of her events in the Toronto or Buffalo area, you must seize it.
