Mikey James - Welcome to the breakdown

I first heard about Mikey from a friend on myspace and truely believe he does not get enough credit or exposure for the amount of musical talent he has. Not only that, but he is a really cool dude and really appreciates his fans. Great artist who should be watched for sure!

Uriah Heep - Abominog

Abominog is my favorite post Byron-era HEEP album. A very strong come-back album for HEEP after the dreadful "Conquest". Abominog was HEEP's heaviest sounding album. I played this alongside the best of other NWHM bands of the day (eg; Iron Maiden). It certainly holds it's own alongside HEEP classics; "Look at yourself", "Demons & Wizards", "Magician's Birthday" and "Sweet Freedom". So sad that Peter Goalby left HEEP after "Equator". IMHO Goalby was the strongest vocalist HEEP had after David Byron.

Yes, Matt Duke truly stands out from the other twenty-something singer/songwriters not just because of his lyrics, but his vocal abilities too! I think he's the best thing to ever happen to a guitar and microphone! He will definitely go far and it's about time he gets the recognition he deserves. He can out-sing those other schmucks on MTV and VH1, I wanna see him on those channels!! He needs to be sitting on the piles of money for the abundant talent that he has :)
