The piano based singer songwriter Tom Wehrle is back with his second album and it?s a gem if you?re into modern pop. Like a mix of Switchfoot, Ben Folds, Bebo Norman and some Michale W. Smith - he is delivering infectious and at the same time charming pop that really feels warm.
It?s playful and serious, sometimes very catchy like in ?Without You? with Folds nuances, but also deeper and more serious (? I will be You Friend?, ?No More Flowers?). This variation of moods in the songs and the good melodies is a very good combination. Its never shattering or monotonous, just very pleasant stories, written and performed by Tom Wehrle.
One cool thing is that Drew Bailey of Greenwheel is playing drums on most of the 13 tracks.
There?s a bunch of similar pop/rock artists out there, but this guy is something extra so get ? Room to Dream? today, or tomorrow. You won?t be disappointed.
