The Swedes of Sounds Like Violence are just getting started, their 2007 debut "With blood on my hands" got rave reviews by Kerrang and I thought it was a promising start for this energetic band.
They're even better on the follow up "The devil on Nobel street", the new album is much more even and the standout tracks comes closer on this 11 track album compared to the first album.
I really like the emotional and distorted vocals from Andreas Soderlund, the music can be described as Refused meeting The Cooper Temple Clause but there are also moments when I think of the Finnish band Disco Ensemble.
I hope they will release the 3 tracks that didn't make it onto the album, "Sinking ship", "Oh oh" and "Much younger than I was before" are too good to be left unreleased.
The new album hits stores on Nov 11.
Highlights on The Devil are : "Get out of bed", the new single "The emperors new clothes" and "$5900"
